Costavo Method: Moving weighted-average, settled independently per asset. Each buy folds "amount + fee" into that asset's total position cost; each sell settles realized P/L at the weighted-average cost at that time (= amount − fee − cost carried out), reducing the remaining position cost accordingly while the average cost itself stays unchanged. Net cost basis = cost basis − cumulative realized P/L. Data is saved in real time to the cloud database tied to your account, syncing instantly on every add/edit/delete; you can also export a JSON backup at any time, or import a backup file from an earlier version.

Costavo Trading Ledger

Record every buy and sell in chronological order, settled automatically with the moving weighted-average method — figuring out, after subtracting realized gains/losses, what your true net cost basis is on what you're still holding. Manage multiple assets (stocks / crypto / etc.) at once, each tracked independently.

Asset overview

The same asset is split into one row per exchange; click any row to switch to that asset's detailed ledger (the ledger still totals all exchanges for that asset).
